As an avid player, I have learned a number of important lessons while wagering over the decades. It does not matter if you prefer to betting at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the numerous web casinos. Here are my golden rules of wagering, most of which can be thought of as common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long way to leaving with money in your account.
Rule 1: Go into a casino with a set amount that you are ready and are able to manage to risk – How much would it cost for an evening out on food, cocktails, cover fees and tips? This is a perfect number to use.
Rule 2: Do not pack your cash card with you – or any other way of drawing cash out. Do not concern yourself about money for the taxi if you lose it all; most taxi operators, particularly the taxis hailed at casinos, will take you to your abode and are more than happy to wait for the cash when you get back.
Rule three: Stick to an upper threshold. I frequently envision what I would like to purchase if I earn. The last time I was able to go, I decided I’d really would love to buy a new digital SLR camera which cost around $400, so that was my predetermined cap. As soon as I surpassed this number, I walked away. Just stop. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and back off. Depart comfortable in the knowledge that you will be proceeding into the city and getting a great new toy!
Rule four: Have fun. When you’re "enthusiastic" you will win. It’s a reality. I do not understand how, but it clearly is. Just after it becomes a chore, or you are only gambling to make $$$$ you have lost, you usually will exhaust even more. When you’re profiting, experiencing a good experience with your mates, or your girlfriend, you usually will earn even more.
